Aion Classic is getting a huge update on June 11, and we’re celebrating by opening a Creator Program Beta to support the awesome players who stream and create videos to share with the community.

Are you a streamer or video-maker who loves Aion Classic? Then this is for you.

What is it?

This is a Creator program aimed at players who enjoy streaming or making video content about Aion Classic. We will start this program in early June, coinciding with the Aion Classic 3.0 Update which will feature the brand-new Brawler class and tons of other content.

This is a Beta run while we work out the kinks. We’re starting small to gauge the community’s interest and will only be accepting a few applicants at first. We want your feedback, so during and after the program, please let us know your thoughts! Please send all feedback to our #creator-program-beta thread in the #classic-discussion channel on Discord.

In the long run, we hope to make this a permanent feature across Aion Live, Aion Classic, and even open the program up to accepting Creators for written guides and tutorials.

What are the benefits?

If your application is selected by NCA in this beta round, you’ll get some goodies to help you stand out in the community. We’ll give you the full list later!

What are the criteria?

For the beta program, we’ll be accepting either Twitch or YouTube channels. We have included general criteria below, but the final decisions on acceptance will be made by the NCA team. Just because a channel meets all criteria does not mean you will be accepted – this is a Beta run and will be accepting a smaller number of applicants at first.

  • Twitch channel
    • Average monthly 25 CCV
    • Stream Aion Classic game at least twice per week, for a total of at least 10 hours in a month
  • YouTube channel
    • Average 1000 monthly views
    • Upload one Aion Classic video every two weeks at least
  • Streams or videos cannot have any inappropriate content
    • Additionally, nothing that breaks your platform of choice’s Terms of Service
    • No use of third-party tools prohibited in the game
    • No advertising of third-party tools or anything against Aion’s Terms of Service

Is your channel a little smaller than these numbers? It doesn’t hurt to submit anyway!

How do I know if I was selected?

We’ll reach out to you via Discord, so make sure you include your Discord name in that survey and join the Aion Discord if you haven’t already.

If you are not contacted, don’t fret – this is a smaller test-run of the program but there will be more opportunities in the future.

What’s the timeline?

  • Applications are open now and will close for submissions on June 6 at 11:59PM PT
  • We will reach out to accepted applicants in the week of June 10
  • We will distribute the benefits in the week of June 10 and June 17, depending on the speed of applicant responses to our messages

Disclaimers and other things to know

  • All communications after submission will take place in Discord
    • If you are not contacted in Discord, you were not yet selected for the program
  • We reserve the right to select applicants for the program, and can terminate participation in the program at our discretion
  • While we request submission of channel stats as part of the application process, we also reserve the right to verify channel performance statistics through openly available data tools
  • Participation in the program does not make the Creator an official representative of the game
  • We may change the prizing, criteria, and terms at any time
